間宮光健/Mitsutake Mamiya

I am Mitsutake Mamiya, a skipper of London Japanese RFC in 2006. I have tried to organise the team with the assistance of many guys.
Although 8 months have already passed since we started the season in 2006-7, I would like to inform you about the aim and target for the season in 2006-7. Aim and Target is “To enhance community function though the rugby”.
“Lon-Jap” consists of all sorts of people (i.e. managing director and student etc). Their age difference is like that between father and son. There are different circumstances and also we have encountered difficulties in attendance. Therefore we have planned to make a game as a team and to organize a lot of events (BBQ, Part etc) as a community. If you are interested in joining our team or community, please let us know! You are always welcomed!!!

初めまして、第二回目の日記リレーを担当させて頂きます間宮光健です。今シーズンのキャプテンとして、手探りながらも、様々な方々の助けを得て、チーム作りに携わらせて頂いております。
半分以上シーズンが経過してしまいましたが、今年のチームの目標を一言で言えば、『Rugbyを通じたコミュニティーとしての役割の充実』です。
「ロンジャパ」は、ラグビーを唯一の共通点として、学生から社長までと30年近い年齢差のあるメンバーから構成されているチームです。そのため、休日には、奥様や子供との時間を作らなければ、レポートを作成しなければ、とメンバーそれぞれがそれぞれの事情を抱えています。そのような状況で、参加を強制する事は出来ませんし、強制するつもりもありません。
それでも、チーム（コミュニティー）はなくてはならないと思っています。誰でも、海外に来て一度は感じたことがあるであろう、不安や心細さ。それはまた、本人だけでなく、家族もまたそれを感じているのではないかと思います。　そんな時に少しでも、多くの人に役に立つ事ができれば嬉しいし、ラグビーの本場で、勝利至上主義だけではなく、そんなチームがあっても良いのではないかと思っています。
そんなチームを作り続けるために、各自のちょっとの時間を皆と一緒に過ごしてみませんか？　ラグビーが好きでも嫌いでも、歳をとっていても若くても、男でも女でも、「心の隙間があればお埋めしますよ！それがロンドンジャパニーズです。(1st/Mar.2007)

冨田泰弘/Yasuhiro Tomita

Hi, I am Yas, playing centre and winger basically.
In our team, I am playing a role in an account, while I am a postgraduate student here.
I would like to introduce some lovely teammates. Firstly, Craig from SA is a fantastic and a smart single man, playing fly half, he seems to like saying “dokushin” well. Secondly, Chris is one of my precious teammates and friends, while he is bit older than me and I must respect exceedingly in the Japanese tradition. Finally the teammate I would like to introduce is Shoji, playing winger regardless of his back injury made by Kohei. He is also a postgraduate student and one of administraters of this website.
At the end of the day, while I have introduced three guys, London Japanese RFC actually has a lot of highly individualistic and smart members and supporters without distinction of age or sex.
For those who are interested in our team bit, please come and play together!!

はじめまして、今回から新たに日記リレーを始めました。
この若年の私、ヤスから始まるというのも甚だ僭越なことでありますが、ご了承下さいませ。
私は普段センター、ウイングをプレーしており、チームではまだ大学院生ではありますが会計担当の任されています。
さて、ロンドンジャパニーズ、略称「ロンジャパ」にはたくさんのメンバーがおりますが、その中から今回は3名を是非紹介したいと思います。一人目は南アフリカ出身のクレイグです。彼はこのHPを見て自らチームに入部したという経緯があり、チームでは安定したプレーを見せるSOです。普段はよく覚えたての日本語である「独身」「兄弟」を気に入って使っていますが、試合では執拗なレイトタックルをする愚直なプレーヤーでもあります。二人目は、クリスです。彼が入部した経緯は非常に縁あるもので、ロンジャパの飲み会（もちろん酔処）で偶然居合わせた別の客であった彼を勧誘したのでした。最後に、今私ががこの文章を作成している横で一生懸命HPを更新している小路を紹介したいと思います。今はロッポンギで痛めた？腰の痛みからラグビーの試合を休んでおりましたが、彼も私と同様大学院生です。日記リレーを皮切りに、このHPを魅力あるものに？更新すると決意新たにしているようです・・・。
以上のように、今回紹介しただけではなく、たくさんの素晴らしい、かっこいい、そして老若男女のメンバーがチームにおります。少しでも興味を抱いた方がいらっしゃいましたら、是非ご一緒にラグビーを出来ること楽しみにしております。(24th/Feb/2007)
